MOPAK Taşköprü (Kastamonu) Pulp and Cigarette Paper Plant

Continuously increasing its investments and production volume, MOPAK offered the best price in the auction held by the Privatization Administration in June, 2003 and became the new owner of the Seka Kastamonu Plant. After a very rapid renovation effort, the mill began to operate on January 12, 2004, producing cigarette paper, plug-wrap paper and cigarette-tip paper, as well as thin printing paper for books.

Covering an open area of 800,000 m² and a closed area of 50,000 m², the Mopak Taşköprü Plant has a wide product range that includes cigarette paper and hemp pulp. Its annual production volume reaches 15,000 tons of cigarette paper, 5,000 tons of pulp and 5,000 tons of tipping paper.
